The Twisted Angel - He is the prettiest of them all; the one that makes you question if God played favorites when he created humans. He speaks so softly, his words drip like honey. Flawless, kind, beautiful, angelic. His perfection is almost absurd, his friends badly wanted to hate him for setting such a high standard in their boy world, because of course, over there it’s always full of testosterone and competition. But they never could because once he sprinkles his magic dust, even a devil would kindly wash his feet. In school he knows he could do anything, he could even sell water to a well. He plans to keep his slate clean and sparkly, until someone starts to poke around and dig a little deeper.
“You dropped your halo.”, she said. Just like that, he was scared silly. He was caught off guard, no one was supposed to be there. She smiled, happy to find out that he is human too, just like everyone else. But that’s not what he wanted, that’s not part of his plan. So throughout the summer he would try his best to keep her quiet. To guard his secret, he befriends the enemy. And he knows the only way to make it even is to search for her glitch, her pitfall, her Catch-22. All is fair in war and now that the angel has been humanized, he might as well play along using the oldest, most cunning, yet effective weapon: love. Sorry to say he didn’t get the memo about its number one rule: In the game of love, no one actually wins.
