The Sound of Music - It remains my favorite movie of all time ever since I saw it in 1996. It had a magical meaning to my childhood and just simply listening to all the songs (which I still memorize til date) makes me want to be kids again. If there is one movie I can show to my children someday, this would be it.
By the way among the Von Trapps children, do you know one of them was the interior design for Michael Jackson, one was in the cover of Playboy and one actually married an Austrian nanny named Maria? :)

Valhalla Rising, hands down the weirdest movie I have ever seen. Dark, brutal, slow paced, with stunning Scottish terrain, and the main character never said a single word. I think I can also count how many lines in this movie as a whole.

This movie left me perplexed..in a good, challenging way.
